We believe in the art of intentional creation. Each LINNEA candle is handcrafted with 100% natural soy wax sourced from the American Midwest—a choice rooted in both quality and conscience. Soy wax is entirely natural and biodegradable, honoring our commitment to environmental stewardship. Its lower melting point allows our candles to burn with a gentle, extended flame, delivering a more sustainable and mindful experience from start to finish.

What kind of wax do you use?
We choose to handcraft our candles using natural soy wax grown in the Midwest. Soy wax is 100% natural and biodegradable, making it safe and clean for the environment. Soy wax has a lower melting point, which allows it to burn slower and cooler, making it a sustainable American resource.
Are your wicks 100% cotton?
LINNEA uses all-natural 100% cotton wicks. By using cotton wicks, instead of commonly used lead wicks, it provides a safe and clean burn for the space around you. It also helps reduce the black smoke from the candle that you might have experienced with other candles.
Why do you double wick the large candle?
LINNEA uses a double-wick system to provide optimal pleasing scent throw and a clean, clear burn without any tunneling. LINNEA’s watermark logo shows a modern interpretation of the Swedish Linnea flower, along with two “L”s, as a nod to our signature double wick design and in reference to our inception as Linnea’s Lights in 2009.
What kind fragrances do you use?
Our coveted proprietary blends are a combination of therapeutic essential oils and cosmetic-grade fine fragrances. All our fragrance oils are cruelty-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free and Prop 65-compliant. Our blends comply with the International Fragrance Association’s safety and purity standards and all applicable international, federal, state, and local regulations.
can you reuse your candle vessel?
We strongly encourage recycling your candle vessel after the candle has been enjoyed. Since soy wax is all natural, simply wash out the vessel with dish soap and warm water before recycling. Our vessels also make exceptional barware, flower vases, and lovely storage jars for cotton balls, cotton swabs, pens, pencils, and more.
how can you use the seeded dustcover?
Wash the vessel and repurpose it with your plantable dust cover, included exclusively with our 11 oz. Large Botanik candles. Simply place the seeded cover back into the vessel, add soil and water, then watch basil, parsley, and chive seeds flourish.
